Fool's Puzzle - the group decided you had to be a fool to attempt this one. All joking aside, this is a great block to practice your hand piecing on. Cut you larger piece (background) first. Also, you could definitely applique your shapes on top.
Elise did it by machine and had to use a lot of pins and then clip her seams dressmaker style.
Sylvia's Bridal Sampler is a quilt composed of 140 6-inch blocks. Join us @ Happiness Is. . .Quilting on the 1st Thursday of each month from 5-8 p.m. to make your own version of this quilt. Elise will guide you through making the quilt in a 6 month club. You will learn foundation piecing, freezer paper piecing, & traditional piecing methods while perfecting your 1/4" seam. The cost for the club is $35 and includes tutoring & notes.
